SWIM CUP: FIRST DAY REVIEW

The Mon-Repos pool is full of emotions because of Katinka Hosszu

In Saturday’s finals at the Swim Cup Lausanne, the Hungarian nicknamed “Iron Lady”, Katinka Hosszu demonstrated all her talent by winning four competitions. She thus entered the top ten of the world’ best performances of 2016. In the 400m medley she reached the second best world performance of 2016 with a time of 4:25:13, she arrived seventh in the 100m medley (58.63) and succeeded twice the tenth best world performance in the 200 backstroke (2.04.38) and 50 backstroke (26.51)!

The young American and world champion Michael Andrew, just 17 years old, wins the 100 m medley in 53.11 ahead of the German Marco Koch (53.18)!
 
Double Swiss record for Jeremy Desplanches
The Genevois Jeremy Desplanches beat his own record in the 400m medley with a time of 4:07:46 and registeres another national record in the 100m medley in 53.55!
